Situated in Le Boéchet, in the Swiss Jura region, the Musée du Ski is open to ski experts and non-skiers alike. Everyone is welcome to dive into the history of this sport and follow the story of its evolution, from early beginnings to modern day.
Laurent Donzé’s vast collection, which was acquired by the museum foundation, makes up the majority of the institution’s inventory. The collection began in the 1970s with the first pieces mostly relating to cross-country skiing, the sport Laurent Donzé practised and was fascinated by
The museum is suitable for ski experts and non-skiers alike. Everyone is invited to dive into the history of this sport and follow the story of its evolution, from early beginnings to modern day.
The museum is located in the former restaurant at Le Boéchet train station.
The Musée du Ski opened its doors to the public on Saturday 30 September 2023. Two exhibitions are on show:
“Skiing through the ages” and “Project Podium – Spotlight on modern-day skiing!”
