The Musée du Ski’s first temporary exhibition takes visitors deep into the world of modern-day skiing competitions. Over 100 years ago, the same pair of multifunctional skis would have been used for everything from travelling and jumping to soaring down the slopes. Nowadays, skiing has become so diverse that there are around 20 different disciplines, each with its own specific type of skis. This exhibition brings together alpine skiing, nordic skiing, freestyle and more… all in one unique space! The equipment on display has mostly come from modern-day champions.
